Abstract

The purpose of this research was to check the participation of parents in the educational activities of their children and the meetings with the teachers and their effects on the students’ academic achievement. The research was survey type and mixed method approach. For this purpose, total 30 students and six teachers were selected for sample. Data collected through a Likert scale from students and take interviews with teachers, data was interpreted through SPSS and NVivo. It was concluded that parental involvement in educational activities significantly effects on children's academic achievement.
