Abstract

Islamic values play a pivotal role in fostering social justice and community welfare, acting as foundational principles that guide the ethical and moral behavior of individuals and society. Rooted in the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, these values emphasize the importance of justice ('adl), compassion (rahmah), and mutual responsibility (takaful). It advocates for the equitable distribution of wealth, protection of the marginalized, and eradication of oppression. Zakat, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is a tangible manifestation of this commitment, ensuring wealth circulation and support for those in need.
